Ian Watkins, Born 1977 is a singer (and an amazing one at that) who lead the welsh rock band Lost Prophets for its' duration from 1997 until 2012 (disbandment). It is true that he was accused of a good many bad things and while innocent (obviously) he was not strong enough to keep fighting for said innocence and just told them what they wanted to hear. Well you know how the cops are - they convinced you did something, then nothing you say will change their minds!
Other than that, he had a really good life - putting on a great many shows and recording a good range of music with his band. I have their album, Liberation Transmission, but I think Start Something is their finest album.
